Terms of Service for Measur

Welcome to Measur. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Measur is a construction takeoff software that allows users to measure areas on PDF floor plans and collaborate with team members.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must be at least 18 years old to use Measur.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
- Use Measur for any illegal purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Reverse engineer or copy the software
- Upload malicious files or content

4. Subscription and Payment

Free Plan: Limited to 1 project with no team collaboration.

Paid Plan: $60/month includes 2 team members, unlimited projects, and full features. Additional team members cost $10/month each (up to 5 total).

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime through Settings - you'll retain access until the end of your billing period.

Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you experience issues, contact us and we'll work with you.

5. Data and Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Measur. You grant us a license to store and display your content to provide the service.

We perform regular backups but recommend you export important data periodically.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects access.

7. Limitation of Liability

Measur is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Errors in measurements (always verify critical calculations)
- Data loss beyond our reasonable control
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Losses exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms and will notify you of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
