COREtec Collections We Carry
COREtec Originals Series
The original, patented 100% waterproof floor that started the LVP revolution. COREtec Originals uses WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) construction with a thick, foamed core that makes every step quieter, warmer, and more comfortable underfoot. All Originals products are 100% waterproof, kidproof, and petproof with attached cork underlayment for sound absorption and thermal insulation. GreenGuard Gold Certified for indoor air quality.
COREtec Originals Classics Our entry point into the Originals line. 6" x 48" planks with 6.5mm total thickness and 12 mil wear layer. Features a waterproof foamed core with attached cork underlayment. Micro-bevel edges create a seamless look after installation. Available in oak, maple, hickory, and chestnut wood visuals. Lifetime residential warranty and 10-year light commercial warranty. We carry 4 styles in stock.
COREtec Originals Enhanced Wider 7" x 48" planks with enhanced painted beveled edges for added depth and realism. 8mm total thickness with 20 mil wear layer for superior scratch and stain resistance. The 4-sided painted bevel creates more defined plank separation and a more authentic hardwood appearance. Same waterproof WPC core and attached cork underlayment as Classics but with upgraded durability. Lifetime residential warranty and 10-year medium commercial warranty. We carry 4 styles including XL wide plank options.
COREtec Originals Premium The top tier of the Originals line. Extra-long 7" x 60" planks with 7.5mm thickness and premium 20 mil wear layer. Pressed bevel edges for sophisticated styling. Select styles feature Soft Step underlayment, which provides extra warmth, quiet, and sustainability compared to standard cork. The longer plank length creates fewer seams and a more expansive, high-end appearance ideal for open floor plans. We carry 9 styles including the popular Soft Step Premium option.
COREtec Pro Series
Built for high-traffic residential and commercial applications. COREtec Pro uses SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) construction instead of WPC, providing a denser, more rigid core with superior dent and impact resistance. The compact SPC core stands up to heavy foot traffic, rolling chairs, and furniture without telegraphing subfloor imperfections.
COREtec Pro Classics Commercial-grade SPC construction in 7.2" x 48" planks. 5mm total thickness including 1mm attached cork underlayment. 20 mil wear layer provides excellent protection against scratches and everyday wear. Micro-beveled edges for a polished, authentic wood look. Ideal for offices, retail spaces, and high-traffic residential areas. Lifetime residential warranty and 15-year heavy commercial warranty. We carry 1 style in stock.
COREtec Pro Enhanced Premium SPC flooring with enhanced painted micro-beveled edges for realistic wood and stone appearances. 5mm total thickness (3.6mm SPC core + 1.4mm cork underlayment) with 20 mil wear layer. Click-lock glueless installation system for easy DIY or professional installation. Superior dent and impact resistance makes this ideal for busy households, restaurants, cafes, and commercial spaces. Lifetime residential warranty and 10-year commercial warranty. We carry 3 styles.
COREtec Pro Premium Top-of-the-line commercial performance with HD (High Definition) EIR (Embossed in Register) technology for the most realistic wood look and feel available. 5.2mm total thickness (3.7mm SPC core + 1.5mm cork underlayment) with 20 mil wear layer. Extra-wide 9" planks available in select styles. The most realistic wood appearance in the Pro line with painted beveled edges and authentic wood texture finish. We carry 2 styles.
COREtec Tile
Realistic stone and tile visuals in a waterproof rigid core format. COREtec Tile eliminates traditional grout concerns with integrated grout lines that never stain, crack, or require resealing. Chip and crack resistant unlike ceramic or porcelain tile. Warmer and more comfortable underfoot than traditional tile with attached cork underlayment for sound absorption.
COREtec Tile comes in three core options depending on the style: WPC for comfort and warmth, SPC for dent resistance, or PVC-free mineral core for the most realistic stone designs. All three cores provide 100% waterproof protection and dimensional stability.
We carry 3 tile options: Integrated Grout for authentic tile appearance with built-in grout lines, Solid Polymer Core for maximum stability and dent resistance, and Waterproof Foamed Core for softer feel and excellent sound absorption.
COREtec vs. Other Flooring
COREtec vs. Laminate Laminate flooring uses a fiberboard core that absorbs moisture and swells when wet, causing permanent warping and edge lifting. Even "water-resistant" laminate cannot handle standing water or high humidity environments. COREtec's waterproof WPC and SPC cores contain zero wood fiber, making them completely impervious to moisture. You can install COREtec in bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and basements where laminate would fail. Laminate also tends to sound hollow and loud underfoot, while COREtec's attached cork underlayment provides quiet, comfortable steps.
COREtec vs. Traditional LVP Standard flexible luxury vinyl plank is thin and pliable, which means it conforms to your subfloor and telegraphs every crack, bump, and imperfection underneath. This leads to visible lines and uneven surfaces that worsen over time. COREtec's rigid core construction bridges minor subfloor imperfections and maintains dimensional stability, so your floors stay flat and smooth. Traditional LVP also requires separate underlayment purchase and installation, while COREtec comes with premium cork already attached, saving time and money.
COREtec vs. Hardwood Solid hardwood expands and contracts with humidity changes, causing gaps in dry seasons and buckling in humid conditions. In Florida's climate with 74% average humidity and frequent rain, real hardwood requires constant climate control and still risks cupping, crowning, and warping. Hardwood scratches easily from pets, furniture, and daily wear, requiring periodic sanding and refinishing that costs thousands of dollars. COREtec delivers authentic wood grain visuals and textures without any moisture sensitivity. The protective wear layer resists scratches from pets and furniture, and the floor never needs sanding, sealing, or refinishing.
COREtec vs. Engineered Hardwood Engineered hardwood handles humidity better than solid hardwood but still has a real wood veneer that scratches, dents, and can only be refinished once or twice before the veneer wears through. Water damage from spills, pet accidents, or appliance leaks can still ruin engineered hardwood permanently. COREtec provides the same upscale wood appearance with a wear layer designed to handle everyday life. Spills wipe up without worry, pet accidents clean easily, and scratches from claws or furniture resist far better than real wood surfaces.
COREtec vs. Ceramic and Porcelain Tile Traditional tile requires professional installation with mortar and grout, which is messy, time-consuming, and expensive. Grout lines stain over time and require regular sealing and scrubbing to maintain appearance. Tile feels cold and hard underfoot, causing leg fatigue when standing for extended periods in kitchens. Dropped dishes and heavy impacts can chip or crack ceramic tile permanently. COREtec Tile provides realistic stone and tile visuals with integrated grout lines that never stain, discolor, or require maintenance. The attached cork underlayment adds warmth and cushioning that makes standing more comfortable, and the resilient surface resists chips and cracks from everyday impacts.
COREtec vs. Sheet Vinyl Sheet vinyl is budget-friendly but looks flat and artificial compared to modern luxury vinyl. It requires glue-down installation that makes future removal difficult and messy. Seams in sheet vinyl can peel and collect dirt over time. COREtec's click-lock floating installation requires no glue, goes down faster, and can be removed cleanly if needed. The embossed textures and realistic wood grain patterns in COREtec look dramatically more authentic than printed sheet vinyl.
COREtec vs. Carpet Carpet traps allergens, dust mites, pet dander, and odors that regular vacuuming cannot fully remove. Spills and pet accidents soak into carpet padding and can cause mold growth underneath, especially in Florida's humid climate. Carpet shows wear patterns in high-traffic areas and requires replacement every 5-10 years. COREtec's hard surface resists allergens and cleans easily with simple sweeping and damp mopping. Pet accidents stay on the surface for easy cleanup, and the waterproof core prevents any moisture from reaching your subfloor. COREtec maintains its appearance for decades with proper care.
